My photography journey has been nothing short of amazing. However, with that being said the beginning was full of uncertainty & self-doubt. I was working in industries that lacked creativity, which caused me to feel caged. The connection with people was the true calling for me to break out of this life of "security and certainties". So I packed up my life and set down the path unknown. It started as this slow, small ball bouncing around from shoot-to-shoot with no real direction or finesse. Then one day I got behind the lens to capture the love between newlyweds, and I was consumed with purpose. It grabbed me by the hand, gave me a twirl and led me down this sporadic thing I call life. Since then, I have traveled around the world with couples capturing breathtaking memories in inspirational locations.

And I thought my first solo session was difficult. Oh brother! Running a business is a whole new monster in itself, especially alone. Sleepless nights stacked with days of endless travel sure do add up quick. But it has been an absolutely wild and beautiful experience. And lucky for me I found a rock to steady me along the way. Plus we have our very own, little photographer due at the end of 2023, Baby Sage!

What seems ages ago now! My first paid gig as a second shooter, I remember feeling so many emotions, but so honored for the opportunity to learn and get experience from a professional. The first day was long and exhausting, around 11 hours I think! But wow-oh-wow how much I was able to soak up!
